We have Easter Egg chickens. They are not a breed; they are "mutts" or a mix of many breeds, who lay colored eggs. Many colors are possible (green, blue, pink, brown, purple, yellow, etc.) but each individual hen always lays the same color of egg. Because of their varied parentage, they don't look much alike.

Our pig may not have "bats in his belfry", but he does have "roosters in his rafters." These two roosters have left normal chicken society in favor of sleeping with the pig.
