Contemporary Romance books usually contain a love story set in today's United States. The lovers may be of any race or ethnicity. As probably 90-95% of Contemporaries contain two Caucasian lovers, I have chosen to highlight books that do not under the subcategory "Multicultural", while placing books about two Caucasians under the subcategory "Caucasian".
Americans don't always stay at home, however, and sometimes they fall in love elsewhere. As long as both lovers are Americans, the story is a Contemporary, which I have separated into the subcategory "Exotic".
