The Picture Book Classics

These are the books everyone knows and loves. Current adults read them as children, and today's children find them just as appealing, just as relevant. These books are firmly embedded in the foundation of American culture; to miss any one would virtually amount to cultural illiteracy.

Most of these books offer you a choice of bindings, and some offer audio cassettes as well. If a book has more than three editions, I list the complete set on a separate page.

Some of these books also spawned a series of sequels, and/or translations into other languages. I list all sequels and translations still in print (that Amazon.com sells), as well as a full list of editions, on a separate page.
